Summer Internships

RPW 2010 Internship Program

The Republican Party of Wisconsin is now accepting applications for its 2010 Internship Program. If interested, please fill out the form provided below. Resumes should accompany all applications. The online application will not be considered unless your resume has been submitted and received by RPW. If you have trouble uploading, please email your resume to intern@wisgop.org. Although there is no deadline for application submissions those interested are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible. We look forward to reviewing your application! Republican U.S. Senate Campaign Internship
Program runs May 24th – August 27th.
There are two distinct internship programs; when applying, please specify which position in which you are interested.

Summer Middleton HQ interns: 30 hrs./week at headquarters (8401 Greenway Blvd., Middleton, WI) + an additional 2 weekend days per month at events (doesn’t have to be in the same weekend). Evening events on an as-needed/as-available basis. Compensation: $500/month.
Responsibilities: Oversight of volunteer program, fulfillment of Web store orders, assistance with social media program, data entry and database management, answering phones and making calls. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Summer Field Interns: MINIMUM of 40 hrs./week, with full night and weekend availability. Potential to be headquartered anywhere in the state (i.e. if internship candidate plans to be home in Eau Claire area for the summer, internship could take place in Eau Claire). $600/month.
Responsibilities: Assisting full-time field staff at events - setting up and tearing down events, outreach to volunteers, event prospecting (proactively seeking out events for candidate to attend), potential independent representation of campaign at events. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Travel required – 50% or more. Must be able to provide own transportation - mileage will be reimbursed.

Lit Dropping is on SUNDAY, MARCH 14TH from 10AM-2PM
We will be meeting at the Memorial Union at 9:45AM sharp!

For those of you who have cars, please park them in the Memorial Union parking lot while we wait for CRs to show up.

For those of you who live in the dorms or are in a Greek house, it is your job to RECRUIT and WAKE UP those that are in your dorm or place of residence. You will be given a phone call list of those who have volunteered for Sunday.

For those of you who are coming from out of town, you will be responsible for those that you arrived with.

Lit Drop Captains will be responsible for the map (distributed at 9:45am at Memorial Union), driving directions, and the leftover literature to be returned to me at the end of the shift.

REMEMBER: There will be a lunch break (Ian's Pizza on Frances is in the works, stay tuned) from 11am-1pm. You will be taking shifts. You will find out your shift at 9:45AM on Sunday.
